These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of this website and to any order placed with G&D The Spirit of British Mischief.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

2. Age restriction

Our products contain alcohol.

You must be 18 years old or over to buy alcohol from us. By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • you are at least 18 years old;

  • the person receiving the order is at least 18 years old;

  • the details you provide are accurate and truthful.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order where we believe the purchaser or recipient is under 18, where age verification cannot be completed, or where delivery cannot lawfully be made.

Alcohol must not be sold to anyone under 18 in England and Wales. A valid form of identification may be required on delivery. If suitable ID cannot be provided, delivery may be refused.

3. Website use

You agree not to misuse this website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

We may update, suspend or withdraw parts of the website at any time. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available or error-free.

4. Product information

We try to ensure that all product descriptions, images, prices and availability information are accurate. However, minor differences may occur between product images and the product you receive, including packaging, label detail, batch information or presentation.

Product images are for illustration and brand presentation. The product details shown on the product page at the time of purchase form part of your order.

You are responsible for reading all product information before purchasing, including alcohol content, bottle size, ingredients, allergens or other relevant product details shown on the website.

5. Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the products in your basket.

Your order is not accepted until we confirm acceptance, dispatch the order, or otherwise make it clear that the order has been accepted.

We may refuse or cancel an order if:

  • the product is unavailable;

  • payment is not authorised;

  • there is an error in the price or product information;

  • we suspect fraud, misuse or unlawful activity;

  • age verification cannot be completed;

  • delivery cannot lawfully or practically be made;

  • we are unable to fulfil the order for reasons outside our reasonable control.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled order.

6. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling.

Delivery charges, if applicable, will be shown at checkout before you place your order.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout. Orders will not be dispatched until payment has been authorised.

We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.

If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we may cancel the order and refund you.

7. Delivery

Delivery information, including estimated delivery times, delivery charges and delivery restrictions, is set out on our Delivery & Returns page.

Delivery times are estimates only. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect delivery information, failed delivery attempts, courier delays, age verification issues, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Risk in the products passes to you once the products have been delivered to the delivery address provided.

8. Failed delivery and age verification failure

Because our products contain alcohol, delivery may require age verification.

If delivery is refused because suitable age verification cannot be provided, or if the parcel is returned to us due to failed delivery, incorrect address details, refusal of delivery or non-collection, we may deduct reasonable delivery and return costs from any refund due, unless the issue was caused by us.

9. Cancellation, returns and refunds

Your cancellation, returns and refund rights are set out in our Delivery & Returns page.

For most online purchases, customers must be told they can cancel up to 14 days after goods are delivered. Online customers generally have another 14 days to return the item after notifying the seller that they wish to cancel.

Returned products must be unopened, unused, in their original packaging and safely packaged for return, unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect.

Because our products are consumable goods, we cannot accept returns of opened bottles unless they are faulty, damaged or incorrect.

Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect.

10. Damaged, faulty or incorrect products

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at:

Please include:

  • your order number;

  • your full name;

  • a description of the issue;

  • photographs of the item;

  • photographs of the outer packaging, where relevant.

Where the product is faulty, damaged or incorrect, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include a replacement, refund or other solution depending on the circumstances.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.

11. Promotions and discount codes

From time to time, we may offer promotions, discounts or codes.

Unless stated otherwise:

  • discount codes may only be used once per customer;

  • discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash;

  • discount codes cannot be used after expiry;

  • only one discount code may be used per order;

  • we may withdraw or amend promotions at any time;

  • we may cancel orders where we believe a promotion has been misused.

Promotion terms may vary and will be stated where relevant.

12. Responsible drinking

Our products are intended for adults of legal drinking age only.

Please drink responsibly. Do not drink and drive. Do not supply alcohol to anyone under 18.

We reserve the right to refuse orders where we believe our products are being purchased or used irresponsibly, unlawfully or in breach of these Terms & Conditions.

13. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including brand names, logos, text, images, designs, product names, graphics, photography and other material, belongs to us or is used by us with permission.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, exploit or use any website content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

14. Privacy and cookies

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By using the website, you agree to comply with our policies where applicable.
