Delivery & Returns
This page explains how delivery, returns and refunds work for orders placed with G&D The Spirit of British Mischief.

Delivery
We currently deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom.
Orders are usually dispatched within [1–2 working days] and delivered within [2–4 working days] after dispatch. Delivery times are estimates and may vary during busy periods, public holidays, or due to circumstances outside our control.
Delivery charges will be shown clearly at checkout before you place your order.
We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect delivery details being provided at checkout, failed delivery attempts, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Age-restricted deliveries
Our products contain alcohol. You must be 18 or over to place an order.
By placing an order with us, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that the person receiving the order is also at least 18.
The retail sale of alcohol in England and Wales must not be made to anyone under 18. We reserve the right to cancel an order if we believe the purchaser or recipient is under 18, or if age verification cannot be completed where required.
A valid form of identification may be required on delivery. If suitable ID cannot be provided, delivery may be refused.
Damaged, faulty or incorrect orders
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at:

Once we have reviewed the issue, we will offer an appropriate solution, which may include a replacement, refund or other remedy.
If the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, we will cover reasonable return postage where a return is required.
Returns
You have the right to cancel an online order within 14 days after the goods are delivered. UK government guidance states that online customers must be told they can cancel their order up to 14 days after delivery, and that customers then have another 14 days to return the item after telling the seller they wish to cancel.

Returned items must be:

in their original packaging

safely packaged for return
Because our products are consumable goods, we cannot accept returns of opened bottles unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect.
Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect. We recommend using a tracked delivery service, as we cannot refund items we do not receive.
Refunds
Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will let you know whether your refund has been approved.
Approved refunds will be made to the original payment method used for the order.
We may withhold a refund until we have received the returned goods or evidence that the goods have been sent back to us, as allowed under UK distance selling guidance.
Original standard delivery charges may be refunded where required by law. Additional delivery upgrades, such as express shipping, may not be refunded unless the item was faulty, damaged or incorrect.
Failed deliveries and returned parcels
If a parcel is returned to us because delivery was refused, suitable age verification could not be completed, the address was incorrect, or the parcel was not collected, we may deduct the cost of delivery and return postage from any refund due, unless the issue was caused by us.
