We didn’t need to change it.
We just needed to bring it back, properly.

G&D has appeared everywhere from palace dining rooms to family lunch tables.

We are not here to trade on nostalgia.
We simply wanted a drink with a proper British character.

A Letter from the Founder

By trade, I’m a dairy farmer.

Which means my day starts early, happens in all weathers, and involves doing the same things properly, over and over again. Cows don’t care about trends. They respond to routine, balance, and someone paying attention.

Gin and Dubonnet turned out to be much the same.

It’s not a drink that benefits from creativity. When it’s right, it’s quietly excellent. When it isn’t, there’s nowhere to hide. The margins are small. The balance matters. You either respect that or you don’t.

Somewhere along the line, this very British habit was neglected. Not abandoned, just mishandled. So I took it on.

G&D is simply gin and Dubonnet, balanced properly and bottled so it behaves the way it always should have done. No reinvention. No fuss. Just care, consistency, and knowing when to leave well alone.

It’s how I approach most things. Get the fundamentals right. Don’t interfere unnecessarily. And show up every day.
