Why G&D Isn’t in Shops (Yet) — and Why That’s a Good Thing

We get asked a lot:
“Where can I buy G&D in shops?”
The short answer? You can’t.The better answer? You wouldn’t want to.
G&D isn’t a drink that sits quietly on a convenience shelf waiting to be picked up with a meal deal and a panic bottle of Pinot. It’s not part of that world. It was never meant to be.
We didn’t launch with supermarket listings, brand managers, or focus groups. We launched with a handful of bottles, a little mischief, and a firm belief in doing things differently.
So why isn’t it everywhere?
Because mass distribution can kill what makes something special.
Once you're available everywhere, you're no longer a discovery — you're a product. We’d rather be whispered about at the right parties than stacked by the chewing gum at Tesco Express.
Will it ever be in shops?
Maybe. The right ones.Independent bottle shops, country house hotels, a few smart bars who know how to pour properly. But we’ll never be the sort of thing you pick up by accident.
This isn’t a compromise cocktail. It’s a decision.
If you know, you know. If you don't — you'll hear about it soon enough.
Until then, there’s the Inner Circle. And the Founder’s Batch. And the quiet satisfaction of drinking something that hasn't been ruined by popularity — yet.
Pre-order G&D now or join the Inner Circle to find out where it’s being served next.
